Ever since the invention of the internet its been far easier for artists to take control of their careers, but still many would say that life for a singer has become more complicated in some ways.
It’s often the case, in spite of the advancement in technology, that many people have less free time. Life has become more frantic.

We’re constantly unhappy and discontented. Life seems to get in the way and talented people are still struggling to get a break. Why can’t life be easy? Why do you have to go through the bad and unpleasant experiences? How could any of the hassle be useful?

For many of you it’s a constant battle; one problem after the other, with the added stress and uncertainty of not knowing where you’re heading, or what the future will bring.

There may have been times when many of you have asked yourself, with each new challenge, which decision would be more devastating? Do nothing and stay paralysed because of your fear of failure, or make a decision, take action and feel the pain and uncertainty as you make it happen?

It’s not easy to stay motivated in tough times and I’m sure there are times when you wonder if your prayers will ever be answered.
I have found that I got the best out of life when I stopped analysing it … and just focussed on living.
Activity keeps you busy, but productivity doing what you love, gives you contentment and sets you free. So, if worrying has become your habit, then that is why you’re not happy.

In order to produce a Diamond, you need friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials and come out the other side unharmed and more often than not, become more skilled and stronger – Be better, not bitter.
At the school of hard knocks, experience is a harsh teacher and often, a little unfair. First you have the test and the lessons come later.
If you look outside you’ll never know where you’re heading, but look inside and that is where you’ll find answers. Your eyes may provide sight, but it’s your heart that shows you the way.
Success is a measure too often decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure that only you can decide.
Always look at how far you’ve come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you’re missing.

When the going gets tough you may well ask, “why me?” But when things are going well, you never ask “Why me” do you?

Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear because life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve.
